PhD Erlinde Cornelis 'Persuasive Effects of Two-Sided Messages'

This dissertation tests the effectiveness of two-sided social marketing messages. It aims to address some important gaps in message sidedness literature and contribute  to  a  broader  and  more  solid theoretical framework  of  two-sided  messages in the field of social marketing. Therefore, this dissertation comprises five empirical chapters. Each of  these  chapters  contains one or more studies. These studies consist of between-subjects  experimental  designs with  one or  more  factors, each factor manipulated at two or three levels.Theoretical contributions and practical implications are discussed at the end of the dissertation.
